roof spoiler or not?

I was curious what everyone thinks of a roof spoiler on a car. I see it on a few cars but I'm not sure if I should get it. What do you guys think?

How about for a LS430? I've seen them on GS's but I wasn't too crazy about them...

If you like it, then go for it. As far as I'm concerned, it looks good on a LS430 depending on how it goes with the rest of the car.

Roof soiler = good

Using a larger one on a hatch is hot or a smaller one on a coupe/sedan also hot.

Does any VIP mod have function? This is a form > function lifestyle.

Over all I like them. It just depends on the actual roof spoiler and how it compliments the rest of your exterior mods. I like the JP one pictured above.

I say do as you please, why ask for people opinion, if you like it that is all that matters.

Kinda stupid how bunch of people come on to ask "Is this VIP enough" or "What color is best to look VIP" just whatever you like. Why build a car to other peoples expectations.

Sorry for the RANT.

I respect your opinion very much and I do agree with what you said. Unfortunately for me at this current time, I'm a very busy business man and I don't have the luxury to research everything that I would like to while building my car on the side. Everything I'm doing is for me and for my own enjoyment because no one else is going to drive my car but me. I would honestly care less if others will praise me or frown on my project (I just hope it turns out nice hehehe). Asking for others opinions is just so I can see if other people who already have them are enjoying products that I'm already considering purchasing (a lot of people may purchase something but only purchase it to join the bandwagon and they may endure more problems than it's worth). It's nice to look at the cars in magazines that JP, Fabulous, Amistad, etc build but as far as the actual people out there building their own projects, I would like to appreciate that and see how it looks like on their cars instead of a fully built car from a company. I have a lot of plans for my car and I want to do it right so I ask the people for suggestions to assist me in finishing my project. Maybe my car will look good likes yours one day, maybe it won't...I don't care because it's all in the eyes of the beholder. Don't get me wrong, I would like my car to stand out in a good way hehehe. Well have a good one Frank.

I've run my car with and without the roof spoiler...

...the car has enough unique items, visually it works either way.

I like the clean look w/o the roof spoiler
but I also like the way the blue spoiler shows-off the black/blue pearl roof section.

I wouldn't do the roof spoiler on the LS as a "stand alone" modification,
but if you're doing a kit and/or wheels, I say go for it!

This is an L-Sportline roof spoiler, for reference. Nice, clean look.

I would say that before you get one just make sure you have the stance right! Otherwise why would you want to show off the rear of the car anyway.
