2007 University of Maryland Spring Meet (for Charity) - Sunday April 29th

Just wanted to invite east coast VIP'ers once again to this inter-forum megameet that we're having at
University of Maryland on Sunday April 29th.

The last spring meet was amazing... there were anywhere between 600-1000 cars that came out
depending on who you ask (you can see the panoramic I took last spring on the back of the flyer)

If any of you guys are planning on attending Hot Import Nights or Carlisle we scheduled the meet
as a nice break to chill at between the two shows.  It's the weekend after HIN, and the weekend
before Carlisle.

[b]And most importantly it's for a really great cause!  The meet benefits the DC-area homeless
through Martha's Table at a time when they are are most in need since most people make donations
in the winter months/holiday season[/b]

We will be asking for 1(or more) non-perishable food item per person as they enter the lot. If you
forget to bring an item or prefer not to, we will collect a $1 donation on your way into the lot. All the
donations collected from admission, food sales and the 50/50 raffle are going to be donated to Martha’s Table

It's gonna be an awesome time.  There were a couple of VIP car at the meet last year.  But hopefully
we can get an even better showing for the 2007 spring meet!

I'll try to make it to this one as well.

I'll be there but my wheels and suspension won't be here yet so I don't think I'll be bringing the granny-mobile

@ benji -- I saw your car in HIN DC and it was looking absolutely beautiful... I was supposed to have my car in the
show as well but incurred some last second damage... I still got some cut-the-line participant wristbands out of it :)

Anyway the meet should be great... Nice mix of all makes but I'm trying hard to keep the meet as JDM as possible,
and we need lots of traditional VIP style representation to make that happen :D

I'm guessing so. 90% sure that's Benji's car and the red/blk flag hanging on the light post looks like a Terp, so my guess is yeah

Man, is that pic photoshopped, my car looks almost chrome, but either way its still a nice pic of it. :)

I think it was the weather + 50 stage wax that made your car look chrome.  It was sunny-cloudy-sunny-cloudy-sunny every 15 minutes.
It reminds me of that "bad day in Florida beats a good day anywhere else commercial" :P
