VACUUM DELETE? KA9 / Legend / C35A Swap

Hey guys,

Ive got my new motor in finally. Now im sourcing hoses, ps rack, mounts other items i need that should be replaced with age.

I've got a question for anyone that has swapped their C32 our for a C35 or heads over: once you've changed the heads or motor, are you still trying to use all/any of the OE vacuum lines for anything? (EGR, Cruse, EVAP, ETC...) On my 96 RL im ditching the cruse, evap, and anything i can to clean up the engine bay but now have multiple vacuum lines i need to plug, or reroute. Just wondering if anyone has just plugged ever line and ran their cars with no issues. In theory plugging these wouldn't be an issue, besides perhaps fuel milage and start up? I could be completely wrong which is why i am asking. I have seen Legends swapping C35 heads and turboing from there and would assume that they have had little-to-no issues with plugging or relocating vacuum sources. If someone out there has an answer or help i would appreciate it.

Thanks

When I did those swaps, I would just take all the accessories off the 32 and put them on the 35 (including the intake manifold). The things I needed to change were one of the front mounts and lengthen the oil pressure wire on the front. Also if I remember right, the hard vac lines that bolt to the intake mani need to be bent at the front slightly to clear the passenger plastic cam cover. Also if you want, I suggest changing the headers to aftermarket while the motor is out if you want them later. Doing it with it in is a bitch.
