I have watched this a few times and the only thing I can come up with, that it could be, is a custom Raspberry Pi setup with an RF transmitter. I won't go into how it would work, for obvious reasons, but if that is what it is, it's very clever.

Yep I think you are correct. And the parts are super cheap.

random guys walk up to cars, casually, grab the door handle of cars and opening it with ease. No need for keys, breaking into the lock, breaking windows, etc.
