im thinking about gettin some wheels but they are gunna need a good sprucing up.... lips repolished, and center prolly repainted... dont know much about gettin this done so what does this normally cost?
most places charge like 150 to true a rim lbarrel and fix minor curb rashes. as for powder coat or chroming, that depends on where u go. some places do "triple plate this" some places do, "double coat that". so it depends. i hear people pay about 50-75 just to polish it out. depends on the design of the wheel. painting the face is usually 100 or so. and chroming is 150(more/less). these are all ball park prices, it can change from place to place. but at least u know what you got yourself into. if your faces are fine, a good 350-400 bucks will for sure fix your rims, take out curb rashes, etc..

costed me $800 CAD to refinish all four. But prices vary based on what type of wheel also like cast monoblock or like 3 piece forged. When I got them back they looked brand and I also got to change to color of the spokes with no extra charge.
DAng 800 bucks to powdercoat 4 wheels?! Is that a lot? Seems like it to me.
can anyone clarify on the different types of lip refinishes ? for example with 2 piece, 3 piece wheels...you have anodized and you have polished right ? what is the difference ?
if a anodized/clear coat lip gets dulled out, can you just take a electric polishing ball to it ?

All wheels were rashed. it was a 3 piece forged wheels so they had to take apart the wheels and the lips was just a deally dull silver. but i got them back looking brand spanking new with the lips repolished to a almost chrome finish
