is this the right place to ask about tires?

sorry newbie alert.

i'm having trouble choosing an affordable 20" low-profile tire for my gs400. my gs came with falken st-115's which are okay, but they rears are the wrong size and the st115 dosen't come in teh correct fitment (255/35/20... it should be 275/30/20).

it was suggested to me to go with the new fk452. 

comments?

It will be more helpful is you can provide us with wheel spec (size and offset).

Just a word of caution, we here are into extreme wheel fitments. If you are just looking for "normal" fitment, we can probably help out to, but there might be comments that you would not like. :coolsmiley:

I have the Falken fk-452's and it's a really nice tire. I've gone 2000+ miles on it and it's still very quiet and smooth.

the rears are 20x9.5. i can't read the offset thru the spokes and i don't want to take it off (i'm at work). 

the tire shop told me it should be 275/30/20. my fenders are rolled.

255/35/20 is not bad for a 9.5, I have 265 on my 10.5. If it's going to make you feel better having thicker tires, then go ahead.

really? one of my big problems is that the sidewalls are pulled back from the wheel lips, which makes it really vulnerable >:(

i'm trying to take another pic of the rears... i don't have a digital camera :(

Some call the dangers of scuffing from stretch "paying to play".
I personally don't feel it's necessary though for a mild look like yours. The guy with the F50 Cima has no stretch and his car still looks dope.
