Welcome to the Dark Side

Some of y'all might know me from Club Lexus. I'm sorta new here, I've always lurked though, but not new to the car game at all. Like everyone here, I'm a real car enthusiast and appreciate all styles of car builds, and you'll definitely see a lot of those other stuff being applied one way or another to my build. I got into VIP style just a few years ago. I like the meticulousness and attention to detail being put in to these kind of builds. Gotta give it up to our Japanese brothers for having that gift or more likely bring brought up with that kind of culture. To be honest, I've always been a fan and have always had a passion for lowriders or lowriding, which is also pretty big in Japan from what I know. VIP style and lowriding share the same attention to detail when it comes to building cars. From paint, design, mods, body, accessories, etc. everything just seem to be in sync with its own unique and distinct concept of style. I noticed that VIP style here in the US though is a bit conservative compared to how they really do it in Japan.

I hope I don't offend anyone by saying that for me, VIP style is like the Asian version of lowrider/lowriding. Just to compare some key points to why I say this; we (lowrider and VIP style) both aim to go as low as we can possibly imagine, wheel/tire fitment is key, attention to detail is either overly exaggerated to make a statement or keeping it simple to make it stand out, custom to the owners needs and wants, paint has to be fresh and lastly but not the least - suspension plays a huge part of the build.

The negative camber is highly frowned upon though when it comes to the car world with other car enthusiasts who doesn't understand or even know the concept. It's gotten to a point where it's ridiculously hard to stay relevant with everybody knocking the style you are trying to achieve and go with. And this is why I came here. Maybe my build would get more appreciation here than elsewhere. I was going to make this thread yesterday, but unfortunately I was bombarded with house duties. So please forgive my slightly outdated intro.

May the 4th be with you. I'm back for the first time. I wanna share with y'all my first real build; triple black, VIP style, Darth Vader inspired '96 original 5 speed SC300.

Yessir it did. It varies for each car model though. There's either letters or numbers on the terminals of the flashers, you just need to match those up, and of course the positions and number of terminals with the digital ones.
