1999 q45 air suspension question

so i have a 99 q45 on universal air and keep running into this problem....for some reason the installer told me this normally happens so im not quite sure. my front lines move with the strut while im driving...is that normal? so the problem i keep running into is the lines somehow end up behind the rim and it gets too close to the rim while driving which cause the heat from the rims to creates holes in the lines. is this normal? how can i fix this problem? the shop who installed my bags keep saying there's nothing i can do about it and i have to keep changing out the lines everytime this happens. please someone help because this is starting to be a headache. thanks...

universal air and coils or stock? idk how they installed it, the bag should move with the strut, but not freely on its own if was installed properly with the right brackets. you should be able to fix the line to the body with enough slack for movement with full lock to lock steering. if it still hits the wheel, you can always switch to a stainless steel leader line off the bag, but it may still have the same issue and just take longer to show itself. 

if you're on honolulu, you should take it to revision audio for them to troubleshoot it.

Oh yeah sorry I forgot to add that, it's on coilovers. Yeah that's what I was thinking, it moves way too freely and the line always gets caught behind the rim. Where should I run the extra slack for the line?

They installed installed an aero sport bag over top of a coilover and didn't tack it in or secure it in any way to the perch on the coilover?

Run a braided line off the bag, fasten the bag to the perch (weather you make aluminium bag plates and weld them to the coilover's collars or make steel collars and weld the plates to them is up to you) then anchor the braided line to the body, you should not have that much slop in your front lines.

Sounds like the line is ran is a bad location. I have mine running right through the strut tower right behind the shock. No way that much line would pull through and hit your wheel. I've been on uas and mine never where an issue. I'd check the line route and see if u can re route it a better way.
