New Member with a cruise control issue

hey all I'm a new member to this site i just got an 06 maxima 6 speed. when i got it the cruise control worked great but as i drove it, now it seems to work when it wants to idk why its doing this. i have no check engine lights on or break light. its weird. the CRUISE light comes on but when i go to set it, it just doesn't SET. only sometime it will work for a while.

im also looking for the same grille as this one.. anyone no where i can get it Attachment 6283

if you have any advise i would appreciate it. thanks a lot
