Lexus GS year?

Would like to ask the veterans in here if I'm in the look out for a 3rd Generation Lexus, 

1) Which exact year to purchase, was there really any differences through the years of the 3rd Generation (2006-2011)
    besides
    a. Restlyled front on 2008-2011 (I'm only aware of the grill, that's it)
    b. Turn signal mirrors on 2008-2011
    c. Interior 2008-2011 (Aware of the cluster color change)
    d. Tail lights 2008-2011 (What exactly changed?)

Is any of the above interchangeable between the 2006-2007?  

2) How many miles should I look for on a used one (based on year) and anything issues to ask about from the seller / car dealership that should have been addressed?
