VIP puddle lights choice?
I am cross-posting this from the CL forum, but thought it would be worth soliciting a wider range of opinions.
I wanted to get some VIP puddle lights on my new GS. Monarch seems out of business. Nobody seems to be doing reviews on these things. I prefer a focused, pure white (no blue; 5000K) puddle light with discrete lightspots?
What I mean is this (monarch kit):
Not this (spots seem too big to me, and don't have clean demarcations):

So I bought that one and they sent me one with chrome surrounds rather than the black that is supposed to minimize reflections. I've tried emailing and calling them several times and not had any luck in getting someone to answer. Figure I'll give it a week and initiate a chargeback.
