99 Q45: Round 2!
Haven't been on here in ages, figured I'd do a little build thread to give me motivation for this car. I had a 97 Y33 for a couple years and really wanted another one. Found this locally and swooped it up! 1999 Q45T on Air Force air suspension. Came with lots of goodies on the car, but looking forward to making it my own :D

Picked up a set of 19" Auto Couture in 9J/10.5J, but haven't even driven on them yet due to a problem with the alarm... guh. At least it looks good sitting there :D

Current plans are just to daily drive it for now. I love the VIP culture and spend my time/money on it when I can, but most of my efforts go into my drift car and team. There is a laundry list of little fixes this car needs that the past several owners have neglected to take care of, so wanting to get that stuff taken care of before modding it further.
Have finally been driving around for the past week or so now that I have fixed the alarm problem... ended up ripping out the remnants of an old aftermarket alarm, searched through the FSM to disarm the alarm, and am now waiting on a new key fob in the mail so this wont happen again. The alarm wouldn't disarm unless the battery was unplugged. Turned out to be a faulty door key cylinder switch and, without an keyless entry remote, I was SOL in disarming it haha.
Here are some more shots I took the other day while I was out n about. Keep scrolling! There's more
Some interior shots I found online. Car no longer has the pillows, neck rests, or fusa knot deal. I'm getting rid of the curtains as well as the Louis Vouitton accents on the inside/outside. I ordered a couple goodies from Japan that should be here within a week or 2 :) Notice the upgraded 2000 interior along with the anniversary addition seats!
For reference, this is the last Q45 I owned. Had it until about 1 year ago when I had to sell it to buy a tow chassis for my drift car.
Had it on 18's for a while, too
.....and finally, my other half. Which I do still currently own and work on.... WAY more than my Q lol. I'm on a local PNW drift team called Daring Partners. You can check us out on instagram or on facebook here: www.facebook.com/daringpartners :)
I guess this should have been my first post, huh? Oh well, stay tuned for more! :D

Sold the louis interior panels and center arm rest today in trade for stock. Going back to the oem black leather in the center and probably leaving the int. pillars off for now to drop the headliner and mess with the sunroof. Will probably do the headliner and all of the pillar trim pieces in black suede... the louis was too flashy for my taste!
Looking to replace the windshield as well, anyone know a good place to get new oem chrome windshield trim before replacing the windshield? I'm afraid to call the dealer on that one..

Certainly agree with your move on the LV panels, way too cliche for my taste too. I can feel you on the older car needing as much resto as it does modification. All the fault finding and repair isn't the flashy end of the build but its the most important for sure.
