#514843Anyone have experience with Bomex kits? OR kits similar to the JP for the UCF10/11?
So I'm really considering going with a full kit with door panels. While I like the Junction Produce kit, I really don't feel like spending 3.5k for a kit and shipping it overseas, plus form what i've heard the quality is really hit or miss anyway. There's really not much out there for the ucf10 that isn't discontinued, but I would rather hang myself that buy some 600$ ebay kit and deal with that nightmare.Hence looking at the Bomex kit:

I got quoted 1100 plus s/h (retail is 1500+s/h).
Here's my concerns:
-The cost.... it seems a bit low. I know bomex has gone out of business back in the day, and i'm nervous about whether or not their current products are well made.
-modifications/sanding/prep, From what i've seen, with slab sided kits, they'll look like straight bacon unless you block sand and fill them. Is this something that's really only common with cheaper kits? the only cars i've really seen this issue on are black, having a silver car.... is it not as noticable? My car has a fresh dealer paint job so while i'm not searching for perfection, I don't want a body kit that looks like it was designed by Michael J. Fox while the rest of my car looks showroom fresh.
hopefully this isn't a repost, I couldn't find anyone reviewing a bomex kit, or much info on people's prep work on the slab sided kits. I'd appreciate any input. thanks again guys
