Burgundy UCF10 LS400
Hello all,
This is my battleship, a 1990 Lexus LS400 (build date 7/90). It has 164k miles and will be my everyday car as I'm getting tired of driving my track Miata everywhere. Probably will keep the car mild for now, just restoring and maintaining the car while saving money for quality modifications. Planning airbags with some sort of 90s style wheels (17s at the largest, keeping it comfy) for the future.

Burgundy interior too!
Here's my Miata if anyone is interested.

Thanks! I love how well regulated and orderly things seem to be here. All the Miata forums are loaded with idiots.

Thanks. It's a slow moving community but everyone treasures it in some shape or form so it regulates itself.

Thanks guys!
Engine bay is super tidy.

I also changed the hood dampers, as they were blown.

One of my friends has a set of Jaguar Vanden Plas rear trays that I'm going to go look at today. I hope we can adapt them to the car easily.
These should look great.

Got rid of the ugly amber signals. Tail lights will stay stock or be tinted red.

Did the Jaguar trays mount? I'm considering putting them in a Y33 Gloria.

I haven't gotten the chance to install them yet. I think I'll need to remove the seat back to do it properly.

I've thought that might end up being the only way to secure them to the seat efficiently. No sense having a table that can't support anything.
Would love to hear from anyone who has done the transplant if they might have any secrets.

From what I've read, you can just take a thin strip of metal to reinforce it from the behind the seatback. Some guy used a piece of license plate haha.
I'll need to dye the leather before I start on that though.
