New to me 1996 Cima

Well just picked up a 1996 Nissan Cima this week for a steal($1000 CAD($760USD))! guy said he took it too a shop and they told him it needed Intake Manifold gaskets and it would be a $2000 job in the ad, I get there and its pissing coolant from underneath the intake manifold(all pooled up in the valley and then running down the transmission) Car is in very nice condition otherwise and sitting on a set of legit 17" BBS RS which the guy didn't even know what they were, not great sizing but easily worth $500 or so.

Anyways back to the coolant thing I soaked up the coolant in the valley and fired it back up and the coolant appears to be coming from the drivers side(passenger side on a Q45) freeze plug in the head, the plug is not pushed out but looks like it has a pinhole or something maybe in it? i am just wondering is there any coolant lines directly above this freeze plug? i cant see any but want to confirm it is not a line that's then running down and looking like its coming from the freeze plug.

I will probably pull the manifold off today and get in there. Glad to finally get my hands on a Y33 as well, been wanting one awhile and getting a CIMA is a bonus, it has all the trick things like power reclining rear seats, electronic rear window curtain and air purifier ,TV touchscreen in the dash and cool Japanese buttons everywhere haha!

Well i tore into it today, honestly not a bad job taking all that stuff off, better then i thought.

Its definitly the freeze plug that is leaking, it appears to have corroded through, and the cooling system does have signs of murky rusty coolant at some time(even though its all pretty green now)

the weird thing is the freeze plug that is corroded appears to be made from Aluminum and the others possibly brass, is this how they come from factory? with 1 made aluminum? i would doubt it, possibly it could have been change before but there was no signs this engine has ever even been taken apart to be honest.

If u can't duct it fuck it? Hahah damn wish I had power reclining rear seats. Although I don't see how there's any space for them. Nice pick up though. Sorry I can't answer any of your actual coolant issues.
