How to remove the climate control on a 97 Q45?

I just got my 00 Climate conrol with the analog clock. I will be changing out my 97 older style for this 00 newer one..Who knows how to remove the CC on a 97 Q45? Please any info I would appreaciate. I could not find to much info on the net.

I hate to say it but do a search on NICO, I believe they have a couple members that had pictures on how to do it.

I do not use  NICO, but I will check..I was hoping someone here has done this..If anything I will just call the dealer and ask..Thanks

the trim piece pops out and theirs a couple screws holding the cc in place.

Have any idea how to hook up the clock?? Is there an adapter conector or something..I saw 1 plug tied up looked at it but the connector is to wide...OR is I am I going to just have to loose the ability to have that analog clock working?

Never Mind fellas I got it..It was not that bad after you look at it from a different angle..Clock works fine and all the other switches..The ones that I am not useing right now I will turn it into a dimmer switch for my over head led mood lighting I will be adding very soon..I think I will put about 10 on each side form front to back...

Any ways if any of you do this mod..all you have to do is splice into or piggie back ontho the matching colored wires for your ac control..Then you will be good to go..tape it all up and wala..

Scale ofdifficultuy for this DIY from 1-10 10 beeing the best I would say 6 or 7..

hey man where did you get the wood trim for the door surrounds and other non stock wood pieces? also was your steering wheel like that stock with the wood or is that aftermarket?

The steering wheel is an upgrade. The woodgrain pieces I picked quite up  a while ago..I will pm you with some info..

post the info too because these questiosn are bound to be asked again.  This way we have a good database of threads.

I wonder if its possible to change out your rear deck with the later style so you can have the factory sun shade... Thats something to look in to.  If updating your shit, might as well go all the way.  That would be cool as hell.

Also, 99 y33s had woodgrain trim for the radio surround.  Im looking for one right now.

I have not seen any 98-01 with OEM wood grain CC..the ones that I have seen have been upgraded like what I am going to be doing. As far as the rear shade goes I really have no use for it and unless I fine a smoking deal I probably will never get it..This is about as updated as I want the interior (oh I do want a Nav), The next update would be The 99-01 Clear Headlights..But I will only buy those items if I find a killer deal..I an a penny pincher..heheheee.

Thanks mang but , ITs not really an item I am looking for.Besides I am going to use that switch location for a dimmer knob for my over head LED mood lighting I am getting put in.
