Back in the game-UCF 20

Hey guys, my name is Ray and I am from Central Florida (now in South Florida).  Many of you may remember my car from the picture below.  Its a 97 LS400 Coach edition that has been under the knife for 3 plus years.  Upgrades (at that time) included UAS air suspension on KYB GR2's, Cinnamon interior, I.C.E, UCF21 bumper retrofit, lip kit,etc etc...but to me, the front end of the car could have used an update...

And here is how it sits now.  Here is a basic run down of what was done:
2012 LS460 headlight conversion-all metal and roundbar (still kept UCF21 bumper retro)
2009 LS460 grill
2012 Lexus Glacier frost mica color change (including jams, bay, trunk, etc
Tons of custom little body touches (shaved emblems, antenna, markers, washer nozzles, molded rear lip, etc.)
New trunk setup (pics to come)
Completely new interior

To do:  Wheels-but haven't found the right set yet...leaning towards stepped lipped Weds Kranze Bazaria's...

I especially like the fact that you kept the ucf21 bumper!

...I think I like the 460 front end on the 400 body more than I like it on the 460 body :)

What lip kit is that? Where you get it from? I like it's simplicity, I have a 98 that's begging for that lip, lol...

welcome back and wow what a different approach to the UCF20 chassis. glad to see it, and very refreshing! love that color from the lexus line up too. great execution on the front end.

whoa i was actually going to go for that same look in the rear, with the black painted section to mimic a rear diffuser. i also planned to use two apexi world sport cannisters just like your greddys! now i know what it will look like, thanks!

Thanks the world sports are nice mufflers. Would have been my next choice if I couldn't source the SP's

I like the trunk set up, you static? Not seeing an air setup...

Thanks I'm on air.  The compressors are hidden under the floor off to the sides and the tank is tucked up above the gas tank in the trunk-in between the rear deck and the gas tank. I wanted to keep trunk space to a max-I may end up getting shallower speakers and putting them in the "normal" way and not inverted to give me even more room. The current speakers are too deep for the boxes and that's why they are inverted.

All covered up.  Now I run smc water traps and check valves as well. It's surprising how much water is generated by running the compressors.

So basically the tank is right under the back window and the compressors are right on the sides of the spare, interesting setup, very clean and hidden well. I have about the same setup which I may just do the same thing. Looks good and a very smart way to keep your trunk.

Thanks, I had the tank and compressors exposed on the last setup but man it killed trunk space.  The only concern i had with the new setup is if the compressors would get too hot-honestly i think they are cooled more now as the new area gets airflow as the car drives-although no matter which way you slice it Vair's generate serious heat...
