q45 offsets

whats a good offset for a 99 q45 18x10 all around?

zero out back and probably a 15-20 up front?

It all depends on the width of the wheels you are trying to get. Personally I will be going with something along these lines:
Front:
19x9 +15~+20

Rear:
19x10-10.5 +25~+30

Now these are pretty conservative offsets. My theory is that I can always push these out further and adjust my camber to make them flush...instead of pulling out my fenders to make them work.

with a 10.5 in the rear, its easy to fit a +5 with some fender rolling and a little bit of camber.

Yea i agree. Your theory is a bit backwards. :) Make your car fit the wheels. Most want maximum lipage without using spacers. :) Dont go conservative, you might regret it later on. :) 

True, but I also don't want to pull my fenders. I am going for a very very clean look...no poking tires or anything like that. They will be completely flush with the body. The problem with finding the right offset is that some members have low disc others have high, so offsets are different. I don't want to get the wheels that seem to be righ on the money width and offset wise just to find out that because I have a high disc, these things poke out 2" past my fender. I am still few months away from really starting my hunt for wheels, by then i will have more info on the offsets, etc. But I do believe that the rears will be in the +20~+30 range.

Offsets and disk really have nothing to do with each other. For example:

Wheel A) is a work 18x10 +5 with a super low disk
Wheels B) is a work 18x10 +5 with a super high disk

 these wheels will fit EXACTLY the same. The ONLY difference will be brake clearence.

Very true, The lip sizes will also vary between different disks but they will fit exactly the same. 

Dark Anghell- I believe you've got some research to do because it sounds like some of your knowledge on fitment is backwards or "off." 

But its cool, because most people on this forum are all about "typing and talking" rather then doing. :)

just speaking in general for most but not all work wheels everytime you change up the disk type you lose roughly a 1/4" from your lip (O disk vs A disk) and you'll lose even more w/ big brake clearance disk types. Work generally uses A, O, R, T disk to describe the clearance.

I'd personally stay away from 10s in the front.. 9.5" max on stock body. 
With that said.. 9.5", +15mm front and 10", +15mm rear, or derivatives thereof... assuming at least semi-stretched tires, rolled fenders, and no major susp mods.. i.e. mass camber

Here's a shot of my fitment for reference. 19x8.5 +7 and 19x9.5 +7 I had to roll the fenders in the rear, but that's probably because I don't have much of a stretch back there, 265/30's on a 9.5.
