I broke my ankle playing basketball and had to have surgery. I could no longer drive any of my cars as they were both manual, so I used this as an excuse to purchase a Q45.I found a black on black 98 less than 5 miles from my house. It had been sitting for years and needed a lot of suspension and brake work which was perfect because I had left over stuff from my S14.
Old cars that I never got very far with.
I was re-shelling my drift car the same time I bought the Q and the photo documentation of things I did is scattered and not the best quality. So this will be kind of just a random picture thread til I catch up to recent day.
When I picked the car up it had a slow PS leak, warped rotors and worn pads, the alternator was bad, the AC didn't work which didn't matter since it was winter and a host of other issues. But the car was cheap and the body, engine, and interior were in really good shape.
I found this pendant in one of the ash tray's so I named the car Tiny Dancer because it's so big and heavy and not graceful.
I bought the car in the winter and it came with snow tires. This is one of the best cars I have ever driven in the snow. I tried to get stuck with this thing and I couldn't.
Then spring came and I wanted to sell the car. It was bone stock, the tires were wearing out and so were the ball joints.

Believe it or not the market for used Japanese luxury cars of the 90's isn't jumping so there was limited to no interest. So I decided to keep it and continue fixing it up. First thing was Cima headlights. Unessicarily difficult to do, especially since I was going from a single beam to dual housings. I did some jumper harness. I had pix but no clue where they are.
The car is super not good on gas.
Back when I wanted Fifteen52's as an upside OEM type wheel. I later realized that was lame.
...and started widening some equips.
