No it's not. Have you had an alignment lately? Or mde a change in your suspension set-up? You might want to see how much toe and caster you're running. An abnormal amount can cause the tread to run in a pattern not originally intended. This can lead to noise and or vibration.

are they used or brand new? if they are used, they might be cupped... are you going from stock size tires then going to rims w/ low pros? stockers with wide side walls will absorb a bit more road noise than low pros.. maybe youre not used to that change..(?) how much psi are you running in the tires? too much wont give any/much side wall flex....

All tires low pros are going to be noiser,,it is the road that you are hearing and the wind in passing through the sidewalls..SOme dont like it but some don't mind it. I have been running low pros for 17 Years now and I am so use to it that it does not bother me. You could check what all the others have told you, but I think the problem is you are coming from a 19" wheel and tire to a 20" wheel and tire. YOur 19's if I remember correctly were a bit big on the side walls and now you are running 35 series plus I am assuming more or a stretch than you had before..THis will deff make a difference on noise,,
IF it bothers you to much and what the folks allready told you does not change things,,just turn your radio up and put your seat back and roll Like a PIMP with nothing but money on hie mind...LOL..Good Luck Man.

Fk452's get louder as the tire gets broken in. Even louder when running some negative camber.

ok so I guess the fk452's are not at fault.
it's probably my algernon coilovers, even on full soft it is very stiff and bumpy. It feels strong and resilient but yet very bumpy and very sensitive to road and pavement conditions.
I'm gonna try to loosen up the spring rate a bit, maybe it will help. but man it's a bitch to adjust the coilovers because the wheels need to be removed to get to the coilover perches.

That is exactly why I did not want to spend extra dollars for the JIC VIP coilovers..The The damping and all that really really will not matter in city driving..you will probably not notice to much of a difference in any of the settings..The damping is more for raceing at top speeds and what not, but hey its another way to market a more expensive product. IF you truly want performance and comfort you are going to have to take the springs out and through in a custom air bag coil over suspension,,but I do tell you this,,you will not be dissapointed...Yes more money but it will be worth it if you plan on keeping your car. if not just get use to it buddy afer a while its really not that big a deal unless your streets are 25mph and bumpy as hell..

i havent noticed them being any lounder than most low-pros. getting the alignment should help for sure.

you guys think loosening up my spring rate will help ? It used to be barely tight but I tightened it up by about 4 turns.
will I notice any difference if I loosen it up?

you mean pre-load?. it may soften up the ride, alittle. i set mine to where the collars are just barely pre-loading the spring. so when there's no load on the coilover the spring won't move.

I loosened up the front preload and there was a noticeable difference compared to the rear.
I guess I just gotta keep messing with the settings until it's bearable.

Changing the ride height doesn't change the spring rate - changing the springs does.
I have coilovers on my GS and I keep adjusting them lower. The ride has never changed since the day I bought them and installed them at their pre-set height. Lowering the perch only changes the relationship of where the spring sits relative to the shock/strut.
If you're running lots of negative camber this will chew-up the insides of the tires quickly and the tires will become noisy. Ask me how I know this!
