Houston area VSC meet.

Well, I believe we have around an estimated 40-50 folks on here from Houston (at least the ones that have made it known to us).

I know Ryan threw one already so how many of you Houston folks would be interested in setting up another local VSC get together?

I have attached a poll to this thread with two options for the choosing.  After you vote, post up and let us know what you think about the idea.

oh and can we do it on a friday cuz i have to work on saturday nites fron 11pm to 7 am

We could have it in the parking lot of my shop, its decently lit and we wouldnt have to worry about anyone kicking us out.  Location is in the Southwest Hwy 6 South @ Bellaire.

any other suggestions?

which shopping strip at that intersection?

bellaire & hwy 6 behind walgreens, next to shipleys
 
its a big parking lot with good lighting.. noone ever bothers us whenever we chill over there

is it a fairly busy area?  it wouldn't be a good idea to have a meet in a secluded area. :eek:

some members may trip if it's in a 'empty' area with nobody around.  already got some PM's on this.

Im down for memorial day weekend, otherwise work owns me.

No its not empty, the parking lot is atcually quite busy with drive by traffic.  The lot is a little hidden from hwy 6, so we wont have to worry about cops.  Lemme know what you guys think.

I'm down for this idea.  you think we may be able to do it early evening before the sun goes down for the sake of getting good pictures?  I have a few friends out in Cali who would like to post pics of the meet on their websites.

Lets try to get 15-20 people interested before setting this in stone.

if its on a sunday then we could do it during the day...that way there is no traffic in the center.  During the weekday, there are a shitload of cars all over the lot.

sunday is straight.. relax, chill, see some nice cars and grab some soul food from pass the peas or some donuts from shipleys

Im down for next monday, we could do it around 6 er so.  Ill be closed on monday, and so will a lot of the shops in my center.  Sould have plenty of parking.   Does that sound like something you might be interested in?
