First mod to your vip car?

my first vip mod will be air suspension. took me 2 months to save up and im finally gonna have it done this summer. im gonna be rolling on stock wheels for another 2 months until i get some decent staggered wheels. 

just wondering if your first mod was suspension or wheels? or even a body kit? how long did it take you guys to complete your vip project?

I havent done anything yet but I would say:
First is suspension, second body kit, and third wheels. Reasoning behind this is the suspension and body kit will determine how aggressive you can go with the wheels, I think.

My first real mod was my air as whell but I also had rims before my air came and then when it came I changed my rims! hahahaha! 8D and a VIP project is never completed....

IMO you buy the rims u want and make the kit fit the rims! 8D or jus go buy what others have on there rides!

I got Suspension first. Lowered cars always look great. Well with the right stance.

hey pancakes, are the 20's stopping you from going lower? your stance right now look awesome, but would some 19's make it even more slammed?

I got wheels first, which was not my plan. I was planning to do a static drop.

I had "19s until I got a can't pass deal on some "20s! The "20s fill the wheel well alot better IMO. But to answer your question no.....It's aout the same. I'm waiting for my upper pillow mounts to come in then I can lower the front a inch more. Here's a pick of the 19s and 20s fully dumped.

mann thats a bad ass drop. hopefully i'll get that low with the UAS kit

i would say get suspension first, den a wheel, den only decide on kits

reason why coz im not gonna roll with wheels at stock height, looks ghey...

with suspension first i can know how big/wide wheel should i go....

den when suspension and wheel up, choose the kit which suit the height u wan...

my first upcoming mod will be a set of insurance coilovers for my Y33 :dance:

I HAD suspension and wheels as my first mod, but then i sold the wheels, and am in the process of selling the suspension. changed my mind within a week, didnt really want the wheels, and suspension, i know i want that air.

I went with wheels and springs first.  If you want to go with wheels first, atleast get some springs to get rid of the 4x4 look.  Body kit with no wheels = gay.

My first mod was a Cima Grill

My first mod to my G50...RB25DET, haha, that's what happens when you get a rolling chassis and a kaputz motor.

I always start with my system, which to me is the most satisfying thing u can do to any car.

Suspension/Wheels should always be your very first mods....they give the car a solid base to start with.
