JDMpimp's 1999 LS400

Damn, its been a minute since I've posted up here. Since I've been gone I got my learners permit and picked up my grandparent's 1999 Lexus LS400. She's beautiful. It only has 72,000 pampered highway miles, and scratches/dents are minimal.

I've got some big plans in store, so wheels/tires/suspension will definitely be first. I'd love it if some of the senior members could lend a hand with fitment issues for the rims. Lately im really diggin iNS0MNiAC's Stich Gulf's and mrmephistopheles' Amistad Dishes if I could just scrape up the dough. :(

Tell me what you think!

Thanks callaghan, the car is originally from McAdoo near Hazleton. It's now in Springfield VA (my hometown) but I might end up hitting you up for parts further down the line. :)

First thing to do is to get the title officially handed over to me, it's in the mail as we speak. Thanks for the comments everyone!

So taken the porsche out for a joy ride?!?!?!?

I took my dad's old NSX for a joyride when he first got it. Should have seen the look on his face when that thing came back on a flatbed....

If I even tried to pull that shit you'd most likely see me on the side of a milk carton... It's his baby.

Right now, I've got plans coming out the ass, but that's all they are. Just plans. The $500 I have saved up in cash couldn't even buy me HID's, let alone a kit and wheels. Ever since I joined I've been in love with all of the aero from Mode Parfume and Aimgain. As for wheels, I think that either Stich Gulfs or Leon Hardiritts would go well with the 20/21 body.

Congrats! Springfield, VA? Wow, there's more and more vsc members popping up closer to home, sooner or later we'll have enough cars to hold a local mini-meet.

Damn you're lucky, having an LS400 as your first car. Mine was a dohc neon that I tweaked up in autoshop class. 185 HP of FURY!!!:p

Good luck with you're build-up.

Thanks Brandon. I'm not sure what the hell I was thinking when I strayed away from the VIP crowd. Some drift fanboy-ism maybe? Idk but I'm back, and this is definitely going to be my primary project for the time being.
