They have a elastic strap w/ velcro that wraps around the headrest. Some have a buckle strap and most are fully adjustable!

actually, they are.

and if you're not used to the 'luxury style' I guess it will look goofy to you. I've seen plenty of these types of items in various luxury rides.

I believe some manufacturers offered them as OEM accessory options didn't they? Just trust on that BOSOZOKU they are clean as hell, and if I remember correctly I believe AMG has them for the Benz too.

let me clarify. the neck pads aren't whats goofy to me. it's the material they are made of (faux gator skin?), mismatched color, and how far they stick out. and yes, they are one of the options for the S class. i've just never had them in any of my past cars, so i'm curious if they are actually comfortable or just there for the Garson props. if so, then it's pointless to retrim them in a matching color/material. i think everything should appear to be factory, although you know it's not. cleanliness is key.

First off buddy, let me tell you something..

I see you are in Az and if you are close to Pheonix area there is a cool cat by the name of Julio..I believe he is Jstyle on the forum. He can custom make them and I would imagine in any color..

The other things is that there are a few other companies that make them such as aimgain, fabulous and sessions are the ones that come to mind. I do believe that they come in black, tan and grey to match most Luxury car interiors...so you might look into that as well

As far as beeing comfy I think they would only becuase sometimes my neck gets cramped up and it would be nice to have neck support kinda like the lumbar support on the bottom...aah did you think I was going to be a A$$ when you first started reading this...At first when I saw neck pads, tables and curtains I thouhgt how silly but now I love those little pointless things...I guess after you drive in a car with some of these items you feel more PIMP...lol

Food for thought..

Well they are comfortable and although they don't match purposely, i wanted contrast and not such a bland monochrome interior. Like everything else it's personal taste I guess! But if you like them (meaning the S class version) try them out they are very comfortable and not just props!

well i do admit that all the little things add up to make the driving experience more enjoyable. every little addition is exciting to get in the mail and install. i guess i'm just new to all the name brands and people being so close minded about what they can or can't install on thier car if no makes it application specific. i guess i'm just old school. i preffer to fabricate my own parts and do everything myself. it's more expensive most of the time, but definatley gives you an extra special feeling.

I agree.. like with my rear curtains I have to fabricate a pedestal for the lower rail to be able to have a flat surface to mount on, I don't know how much it will cost me but who cares as long as I have the creature comforts I love..... now on to a different question for you... when are you going to show us pics of your w126????? is it the 420SEL or the 560SEL? i like them both and want one to do up VIPstyle too! you'll notice that on this board i'm one of the non-platformers that purposely chose a non platform to do up not like most that came in here hoping to be able to claim VIP, I just want to show VIPstyle in an uncommon platform!!! So I hear ya!

it's a euro 500SEL. i don't have any recent pics because i've got all these projects going on at once and i'm sortta frustrated. i've started too many things and have gotten sidetracked with others. in the middle of curtains, diamond patter black alcantara headliner, adding all switches to center console wood (have to make a whole new piece of burl) to make room for a monitor, full burlwood rear deck panel, suspension work (bags or coils?), finishing the quad center exhaust, and a bunch of other small things. i'm in over my head now.. but here's a couple pics:

possibly considering using these OG AMG wheels i picked up a long time ago, but might ditch em for funds to finish interior work. if it comes down to it, i might just take it to an upholstery shop to have it done, but i'd rather not.

i'm just going easy right now, but i'd like the interior to be the centerpiece of the car. as for the outside, a large front lip spolier will be just fine.

here's my old W123, too..

ahh, those look much cleaner than the garson pieces.

so as far as attaching, they simply have straps that go around the headrest mounting bars, or do they mount to the seat itself? i ask because i have power headrests and i'm guessing that if i raised them, the neckpad would be dagling if the straps just go around the bars.. and it would look shitty from behind if i raised the headrest at all, i'm sure. but if they're comfortable enough to make you doze off, i might pick some up, or have the upholstery shop do some custom pieces. whats the price range of the various aftermarket options?
