HI

Hey there...i've been posting for a few days and figured i'd make an intro thread. I'm dylan from southern indiana/louisville kentucky area. currently i drive a 95 nissan 240sx. I have known and seen VIP cars before but thought it was only a japanesse/show car thing, had no idea the following for it in the US. I would love to get into a VIP platform car but it will be my daily driver so that scares me a little.

i have 17x9 front and 17x10 rear 5Zigen FN01RC's but am awaiting funds to get tires on the rear...

Welcome Dylan!!! but don't be afraid of a VIP or VIPstyle daily driver..... you won't be doing much to the motor anyways till later if you're smart! hahahaha Once again Welcome!

Welcome but this is a bold statement. VIP starts with a certain platform. Though it doesn't mean you can't be vip styled or inspired. Please read the thread below. Just some friendly advice before the elitists comment.

Well...I have some new info for my intro, and figured I'd just bump this (hope that is OK) instead of making another thread.

My girlfriend and I found out we are having a baby Feb 15th so I decided my turbo 240 wasn't the best idea for her, and the safety/comfort of the baby. I aquired a 1999 Acura RL in a trade. I know its not a true VIP platform like I've wanted for years but the trade offer was TOO good to pass up, and I figured the v6 wouldn't hurt with gas prices above $4.00. I will be posting pictures within the next couple days in the showroom. Its pearl white with grey leather. I'm in love with the styling and the size of the car. Its nice to be comfortable, quite, and smooth. 

If anyone has any helpful comments on the KA9 I'd be much appreciative. All the VIP research I have done has been in the lines of the GS, LS, and Q45. Nothing on this car. Is there a comany that makes good lowering springs (just temporary until after the baby and I can do coilovers) And what is a good offset/wheels size that will fit these fenders? Thanks for all the help VSC!

I'm working on being the 2nd VIP Style Car in Louisville, KY. First was 19psi on here but he recently sold his.

I had a trade worked out for my 240 for a 99 Acura RL, we trade for a few days, he blew a headgasket, wanted to trade back. shitty.

but just recently I bought a 01 Maxima 20th AE...not true VIP platform like I've been wanting but its big, 4 door, and safe for the baby.
