Suspension question for a Q45
I want to know what are the interchangeable suspension parts for the Q45 with its other Nissan brothers.
More importantly focusing on the adjustable stuff to give the car camber adjustments. Please!
I am completing my parts list to get everything together at one time.
I remember Dark Anghell having a topic like this, but I don't think it got finished as far listing what worked. So it would be nice to have it on here for me and to other Q45 owners if they wanted to get some suspension items.
Thanks in advance.

well if you want max camber you'll have to modify (shorten) the upper control arm. Which is a fairly simple task.
What kinda of camber are you looking to run?

There's a part in www.nagisa-auto.com that gives the rear of the Q45 an adjustment up to -25mm camber.
That would give me plenty of options to play with the settings for my car.
As for the front, Im thinking probably around -5 camber.
Check out the site, but I ran it through Altavista's translation site to understand. But its under the Nissan VIP parts.
THey have a bevy of suspension parts there, but I just don't know which one is which.

lol i doubt you'll need -25. And for all the trouble of ordering this:
i would just suggest modifying one,it will accomplish the same thing. I've done this in the past on my g50 to achieve -8 in the rear. I believe other members like oneton and viplife have also done something along these lines in the past aswell.
as for the front, i would suggest camber plates. they should get you very close to -5.
btw- that site has some pretty cool stuff on it... I've never seen these for the g50 before:

Yeah that site has some neat looking stuff.
Ok atleast now I know the basics...for camber plates is there a "universal" ones that can work with air suspension?
If not I might just stick with a good coilover setup, even though I really want the instant height adjustments of the air.
But, im still leaning towards air.

get some used JICs and add air to them. Then you have adjustable camber plates in the front and a better suspension all around..I think its worth it.

lots of guys use the front adjustable piece from z32. however there were a number of companies that made them for the g50, specifically. i bought a set several years ago, and they are very nice pieces. the pictures cannot do them justice.
glad to see you got a g50 again.

to pagong,
i think you are inquiring for a second generation q45...
if so, getting -5 shouldn't be a problem on the stock arms. if you need more almost any adjustable arm should get you to -5.
if you really need more, you will need to be much more selective with the arms you choose, as ones designed for different cars are:
1) just that! ie. arm length may differ
2) are most often designed for correction, so the range you seek is not there
3) some arm designs may contact your suspension components at extreme settings
ive experienced all the the above challenges on the g50, and hope this information helps.
