Nitto 555 or Nitto NeoGen

which one is better? any opinions on them?

I have had both on my lexus.  I just switched from the neogen to a nt555, and i will NEVER NEVER go back to the shitty neogen.

just put nt555s on the back of my Y33, no complaints here.  haven't put too many miles on them but they are quiet and stretched nicely.  and they have a good treadwear rating

i read somewhere that the neo gens were made for cars with negavtive camber but i heard 555s treadware sucks and roadnoise and cracks and stuff but heard good things about neo gens

555's wear a bit fast, but they were pretty decent.  The Neogens are actually designed for negative camber, but it doesn't really convince me.

well..."designed for negative camber" = a little more meat in the corner tread blocks. It has its place and use. It might not be the best tire all around, but usually, as with everything else, you get what you pay for... and neogens are pretty affordable. Price as a factor, they're not a bad deal, nor are any other nittos..

my new 555s have a LOT less noise than the neogens i just took off.

personally i would say the nt555. i had those on my 20's and they lasted awhile. the neogens are cheap and dont grip worth a crap.but i would recommend the falken 452's. but its your call though

fk452 were the first tires on my list til i found out they dont make em in the size i need, which is 225/35/20 and 245/35/20

they still sell NT555's ? I thought they discontinued them when the INVO came out.

had/have the 555's in 225/40/17 (about gone) but i loved em while they had thread on em :D

how was the treadware?
