gas prices affecting your VIP purchases?

just wondering how many of you are having to put off planned purchases becuase of the ridiculous gas prices cutting into your disposable income?
it is certainly affecting me... i've noticed over the past few years that it's taking longer and longer to acquire the high dollar parts for various car's i've built...
here in louisville ky, i'm paying 3.39 for 93 octane...that's over $60 a week just to drive to work and home.

I have not been effected to much.. since 96 I have been driving gas guzzling V8's..So I am used to paying up the wazzoo for gas..It was nice when I got this Q and doubled my gas milage compared to my other vehicles...

It's pretty rough. Luckily gas on-base (air force) is a bit cheaper than off. I'm still paying about $63 to fill the tank on the LS. It lasts me a tad over two weeks. I'm with zion_97 though, suprisingly my V8 gets much better gas milage then all my other cars. Granded they were mostly S13s and S14s :)

if i keep the speed around 75mph on the freeway without a/c i get about 20. a/c makes a noticeable difference, but it's necessary in this sauna where i live.
all my turbo cars that i had before actually got excellent mileage, even 30+ mpg doing 80+ onthe freeway.

I'm averaging 20+ mpg on my 02 Q. Last fill up about $55 at Costco. I usually don't let it dip below half tank though... just in case.

my LS400 gets the same gas mileage as your car but, it doesn't have a V12 in it. 1gz-fe twin turbo would be nice mmmmm. i too am part of the heavy foot club. lol
