New member from WA, Cressida

Hi everyone,

My name is Matt and I drive a 1989 Toyota Cressida.  I originally bought this car as a drift car project.  Now I have a full sponsorship for drifting so I don't need to drift my own cars anymore :smiley: 

I blew my engine and recently bought a wrecked MKIII Supra and stole pretty much anything I could off of it.  The Supra had a freshly rebuilt engine, transmission and a new clutch. From the Supra I swapped over:

7MGE engine
manual conversion with W58 transmission 
bucket seats
stock LSD
oil pressure guage
rear shocks and springs

other stuff:

17x7 Konig wheels
Luxis crystal shift knob
Mahogony steering wheel
VIP cup holder
Dual tip muffler

Things on the way:

-BN sports aero
-New paint
-Curtains

I decided to go the VIP route with this car which brings me here.

Color of the exterior/interior looks good. Now you need to drop it and add some better wheels.

Immediate plans include wheels, coilovers, aero and paint.  Paint will be the same color.  I'm also thinking about a wood trim kit. Thoughts?  

found a set of these for $200, anyone know the offset? edit: nevermind it's +45.  Any thoughts on fitment?

I dont think those wheels would be anything desirable. They would look alright, however far from flush. Depends on what you're wanting to do with this car, are you going for a true VIP style or just something different?

Mine is still on the drift side of the house, but about to get better looking.

Got some new wheels, rolled the fenders and lowered today:

Still not so VIP but much better I think.  I know it doesn't look like the wheels are that tucked but they are really close.  Better pics coming soon. Thoughts?
