Amber Corners

I was thinking about painting my corners amber.
 
What you guys think, I messed around in photo shop to get a general Idea?

Some of you guys may or may not like it so I am prepared for what ever flames you might want to shoot.
I have always been a fan of Amber corners.
 
Unless you can buy amber corners this woul dbe my other option. I know the color is off a bit so use your imagination.

kinda makes it look like a bmw front.  I would keep it clear and just get amber LEDs. ;)

Eventually I want to get JDM Q45 Type V headlamps and corners but until then would be something to spice up usdm corners. :p

I always liked a nice "bright" but richer amber look.
A little different than the regular factory look tho.

Dude, we pay lots of money for JDM headlights to get rid of the amber reflectors.  Doesnt look bad, just looks like factory.  On the plus side,  Only a few colors dont look bad with amber and black is one of them

Not to shabby, does make it look like a Beemer.

I want to remove mine and add amber LED turn signal.

I say keep the clear lens...

clear lense with amber bulb. don't get that stained glass paint crap.

I think the clear looks a lot cleaner since your side markers are clear

Wow, I'm diggin it.

Crystal clears are kinda growing on me now. especially with a black car.

Thanks J-Style, I definately like the look of the amber corners on the G50.

I like the amber look.  I believe that Japan actually carries "amber" paint in an aerosol can....the beauty with that product is that you can always "peel" it off if you decide to go back "clear".  Forget the brand.  But because I can't get my hands on this product will probally buy some "Stained Glass" paint and do it that way.

i hate them on VIPcars. on hondas they look good, but not lux cars. makes the car look cheap and old IMO. buttt im sure w/ the way the "VIP trend" is going w/ all these converted honda kids thinking amber corners are OMG S@ JDM!! and cant wait to bring their "ideas" to VIPstyle there will be quite a bit of it going on. unfortunatly. cause that **** is UGLY.

Lookin at the picture posted by j-style if that is non chopped photo, amber corners have nothing to do with "the honda kids bring thier OH SO TIGHT JDM style to VIP" 
But it's personal taste. Like boky kits and wheels.

Amber doesn't look too bad. Though it does look cleaner if it is just clear.

That second one that got posted has cemented my opinion. It's a refreshing change, it livens up the front of the car, without being tacky because it looks stock.

How do you get the amber reflectors clear like that? I have been looking for people to make me some for my bumpers and turns but they all want loads of cash.

yeah i hear ya man, i was just saying here in america im sure there will be lots of it going on, even tho VIPcars look wayyy cleaner w/ all clear.

if you dothis at least chrome the grille out ....so it doesn't resemble the bimmer one.

But the thing is most M series come with clear corners.

Not gunna argue..but... I guess it can go both ways but when I think BMW I think clear.

The shot of the clear lenses looks more bimmer to me..IMO kind thing I guess.

On this other pic the corners match the bumper lights.....

Don't like those as much, they look too opaque. Doesn't 'jive' with the headlights and wheels.

its taste, when i had my bimmer, all the US people said to change 'em to clear.
 
However when I went to Japan, everyone was digging amber. It's just one of those things, it's different than what you're used to seeing, so they think it's cool.
 
I ended up just leaving the stock amber lights, to me it wasn't a big enough decision that was worth the money.

Totally true, to me in some cases going clear with some cars takes away a small part of contrast.  But only on some cars, **** lately from what I see everyones blacking or smoking everything out again.( Not here )

Some cars look great with amber corners. I think the G50 is one of those cars where depending on design can look good with amber corners.
