AirRunners vs UAS on a 2nd GS pros/cons?
This has been probably covered, but wanted to know if theres any difference in running UAS vs AIRRunners as far as rubbing issues with either of them, install, etc, etc.
Any accurate info, or any info that would be FYI for me would be appreciated
This is for a 2001 gs300, probably looking to run with kyb's or something similar.

you do know these arent the only companies to bag a car with, right? These 2 kits are vastly different. Airrunner has full bag struts, UA is just a bag that goes over your stock struts. Airrunner uses push locks and mechanical valves, both of which arent the best way of doing it. UA has electrical valves and nice lines/fittings. ALthough the valves provided w/ UA are valves made for hopping and your car will dump QUICK...maybe too quick for a VIPcar.

actually Ive talked to the UAS guys because im getting the Universal Air Suspension installed at there shop and they said they can change your valve to go down slow. You can also change the amount of noise from the purge of air to almost no sound.
I think the UAS gives the most bang for the buck. I have a buddy with AirRunners on his GS. It feels very plush when you are driving at a slower speed but in normal cornering at a higher rate of speed such as on a freeway going about 70mph its way too soft. Plus all of the gauges that come with the UAS are digital. standard also is a 7way or 9way switch kind of like what would come with a hydro kit. you can go front, back, side to side, pancake, and control all 4 corners individually. where as the Air runner is a simple 4.

To add on to the Air Runner [ACC] kit, the basic kit comes with mechanical valves but you can upgrade to electric valves if you wanted to. Its an option ACC has. I still say ACC has the better kit. I don't think UAS kit would be good with stock struts. Thought if you're going to use it with coilovers then yes. Other than that, Air Runner is still the best choice to me. Maybe you could take a ride in someone who has UAS and another who has Air Runner. Then compare it. Where are you located?

true, forgot to mention the upgrade! comparing these two is apples to oranges tho... they are pretty different...especially in price. id much rather go w. UA and save a couple g's, and use a couple hundred of that to upgrade the valves. then go to a strip club w/ the rest.

i would also guess that the air runner system is designed to work as a complete solution, meaning, the bag will not allow the strut to operate beyond its capabilities, or recommended range.
universal aero bags simply replace the coil spring, allowing the strut to compress more than a coil spring would.

airrunner runs w locks. not push locks. the 8 valve solenoid upgrade is worth the money. i personally love my airrunner kit. got it on my gs. rides good.

So have you rode in a car with the UAS setup?
