can any of you tell me the reason why toronto is nick named "T-DOT"?  I can understand the T stands for Toronto but what does the dot mean or come from?

you think that dont make sense what about Dick beeing short for Richard??what the hell is that all about..All my life I have been trying to find who was the smart ass who thought of this..still searching.:mad:

or bob is the same as robert. while we're at it, why isn't it proper to say a pair of shirt but its proper grammar to say a pair of pants?  oh bloody hell, english sucks.

pant leg. 2 pant leg=pants. pair of pants. 

underwear: usually equals 2 'under wear' items of clothing. pair of underwear.

shirt.. 2 arm sleeve = pair of shirt..?
 
where does the 2 in underwear come from?  how is underwear a 2 item clothing?  we're 2 guys talking about underwear :sad:

you don't wear an 'under shirt' with your 'under pants'?
