The entire episode is 48 min long, [I]however[/I], you should [I]at least[/I] watch the first episode (vid is only 10 min). to make it easier, I've uploaded the entire vid in 5 segments. those of you interested enough can watch all 5. trust me, it's worth it. 

I hate watching stuff online and I seem to have a good amount of ADD racking my brain at times but wow, this stuff caught my attention and for those of you who are spiritual, scientific, or both, this should be able to grab everyone's attention.

the dude is challenged by scientists, whoops ass in blackjack, and a lot more. I have truly been inspired in more ways than one.

are these people really just as, or more, brilliant than Einstein?

imagine what school would have been like with minds such as these.

you could just watch it on tlc or national geographic channel, as it came from one of those (can't remember right now which channel i watched this on).

btw, he didn't whoop ass at blackjack, he broke even.  he did, however, break even on the most unlikely of events.

in any event, it's interesting in the sense that basically he's as fine a line as you'll see between autism and genius.  of course, with all that he has from a "smarts" perspective, he still lives at home, and doesn't seem to date...

there are going to be folks on here who won't catch this on TLC or the Discovery channel.  It's just something cool to watch [I]anywhere[/I], as this was posted on many forums.

the social interaction, or lack thereof, is one of the principle parts of diagnosing autism.  given one of the major points of the documentary is the fine line between genius and autism; his social interaction, however minimal, is very important.

I would love to meet this Daniel kid one day and even the REAL Rainman.  to tell you the truth, I would rather enjoy having 'intelligent' people in my company who strive to think above and beyond the average rather than individuals who hold themselves back never attempting to further progress their mind intellectually.

Ok, I had to stop after the 1st 2 minutes as I just made myself laugh. The 1st youtube link above, at 2:50 where he's solving the division problem, they started using a computer to get more of the decimal places. In my head I pictured him just reading it off the screen and then the camera would man would zoom out and the reporter says "Dude your just reading it off the screen!" and he's like "Oh I didn't know I couldn't do that." haha Ok, I know, I'm stupid, but i had to post, now I'm gonna go back to finishing the clip. :)
