Sponsorships???

What are your thoughts on Factory or shop Car Sponsorships??

what do you mean?

For what kind of car...a show car? Race?

I think they could be beneficial if you can do everything they need to keep them like going to 5 or 6 major shows a year or whatever they require,perhaps stickering your car from top to bottom,etc....

Most times it's not worth it.  Unless it's YOUR shop and YOUR car..haha.

Factory sponsorship means Nissan, Toyota, Infinity, Lexus, etc.
Shop can mean anywhere from the shop on the corner to a parts manufacturer.

Just make sure the deal works for you and that it's a doable goal you've set.  Don't go overboard and try to do something you can't handle time wise or funding wise.  In other words, don't get too over your head into it.

oops, I mean "part Manufacturing" not 'car factory'....I wouldnt turn down Ferrari tho :thumbsup:

Like elpres said, if it worked for me I wouldn't turn down a good offer, though there is a certain extra amount of pride in having a completely indy project.

Yea all depends.  Sometimes you get a sponsor who is a complete dick who breathes down your neck and you are their little pet.   Some are really relaxed and cool about everything.  Just depends on what car you rock so you can get the right terms on it.     Ive had quite a few little ones (Nothing big at all) and theyve been okay I guess.    Now that all my sponsorships are expired I probably wont renew anything for lack of care.  Theyre not all theyre cracked up to be.  Id MUCH rather just rep a shop who are cool people and true enthusiasts than ones that are looking to use me.  (because that's what it is in the end).     Ill always vouch for people such as Autofashion, M2-motoring, and a few others.   If theyre good to me, Ill be good to them back, but that doesnt always require sponsorship.    All in all, depends on each individual application and what you want to do with the car.
