Might have a few more Japanese visitors soon...

Just got the July VIPStyle mag and it has an article about vipstylecars.com, how to register, and how to look at our forums. It mentions this as the premier site for VIP in the US and has lots of good things to say.
 
Also mentions Jtuned (which it says is a little more professionally put together??!), but most of the article is about us!

Sweet...VSC also got mentioned in the June issue of Super Street. They had a small article on VIP.

But the difference is that I actually look forward to the new members that join because of the VIPstyle article, while I loathe most of the others.

VSC is in the works for getting a new look so it won't be the default style vBulletin is giving. Thanks for the heads up. Maybe someone can scan the article for us if not I'll try to pick up a copy from jtown. Dom, PM sent!

Awesome! It'll be nice to get some more 'straight from the source' ideas...sometimes ideas have been bounced around for a while before we hear of them in North America

yeah, definitley exciting.....we are building this thing slow but steady and heading in the right direction.

and maybe.... just maybe they'll finally show us how they appreciate the non-platforms a little more than their U.S. VIP counterparts. I mean come on.... they seriously think the 300C is a perfect candidate for VIP styling to the point that VIP companies are making kits for them!!!!! hahahahaha

This will be a breath of fresh air.
It's great that VSC is becoming the premier place for all VIP enthusiats, those with traditional and non-traditional platforms.

If the mag has an article based around the site, I'll bet pretty soon they will be looking through the threads for features. VSC is awesome!

Will get a scan of it soon... but its not all that interesting unless you read Japanese. Not many pics, its just an article in the USA VIP section of the mag. I doubt many of the visitors will post up; Alot of the Japanese people i know wouldnt feel comfortable typing in English (even though they can write/type pretty good!). But either way, we should make them feel welcome :)

Well, call me crazy....but I think we should have some type of link for our new potential visitor coming from Japan......kinda like a welcome link that is prominent when first logging in.....
 
and then maybe it should have like a tutorial on the site and encourage them to post with us.....get em to post pics too....

It all depends on how hard this site is to navigate from a cell phone, because most people (like 80-90%) over there only access the net from their phone. Thats why alot of the pics on Minkara etc are only small..

they are soo much more advanced then we are.....so that explains the tiny pics on most of their personal car club websites...

people just need to learn to be themselves and stop trying to be and/or dissin' others then everything will be A-OK!
