will cedric 3.x liter turbo engine fit in USDM y33 ?

this is very new to me.

anyone have expierence with this ? are the cima 3.x turbo engines the same as the cedric's?

You can put nearly any engine in any car with enough fabrication and knowhow. I'm in the process of swapping an RB25DET into my G50. Custom drive shafts are your friend. Easiest thing to do is get motor/trans/ecu/harness/cross member and you'll be just fine. makes it easier to mount up and to play with placement. Then a custom driveshaft and linkage (if need be) to place the shifter and make things all line up.

The Y33 Cima in Japan had a 4.1L V8 and they also came out with a 3.0L Turbo (I believe its the VQ30DET) . That would probably be your easiest solution. Should just be a direct drop in assuming you have all the parts.

I used to work for a Nissan dealership and I heard the same thing from all the technicians there. Its a great engine, but not enough room to work on it. But if that's a project you're willing to take on, I think it would be cool to see. Good luck with it.
