eBay chrome door pillars? Anyone experience with these before?

I would like to get some chrome pillar overlay for my car, but I have no other option than eBay since there's no other company that makes them for my car.

Has anyone here experience with chrome pillar layovers on eBay? I don't want stick these on my car, then finding out they crap out on me and would give me hell just to remove the adhesive (if possible).

Is it possible to take out your pillars and get them dipped in chrome or spray them in chrome?

Oops, I meant to say door "SILLS" instead of "pillars".

But anyways, my door sills are made of plastic/rubber like material. And I'm not sure if those can be chromed by a regular chrome shop since plastic chroming requires special process.

Been there, done that. Doesn't last more than a few months, even if applied correctly.

a friend had them on two of his vehicles they look great and last a long time aswell. he drove through 2 canadian winters before he sold the car. and the owner still has them on the vehicle and they look great. just make sure u clean the surface well before sticking them on to assure proper adhesion. If my car didnt have frameless windows and they could work i would already have them on.
