Same size lip front and rear

I wasn't planning on it, but turns out my wheels have the same 4.5" lip front and rear.  What are everyone's thoughts on this?  I could run a higher offset wheel in the front with a spacer for a smaller lip, but that seems like a waste

i like it when the lip is the same size front and back. What offsets are u running?

19x10 +0 245/35, 19x11 +11 275/30

Its not the size of the lip that counts, its how you use it!
 
Having the same amount of poke front and rear is more important than having X inches of lip...

I know fitment is more important, that's not what I'm asking.  I'm just wondering if it's gonna look wierd with the same lip f&r.  guess I'll find out for myself later this week

He's right, you need to stretch it a bit, I've seen 225 on a 10inch rim, tight fit and he said it was hard to do but it look's SIIICCCKKKK...I'll post a pic....

Ok the one above is a 17x10in rim with a 225-35.........The one below show's on the left : is a 17x9.5in rim with a 215-35 on it and the right is the 225-35 on a 17x10in rim...Niiccee Stretch!!!!!!!!!!!!........Oh BTW tires are Dunlop SP9000....It's Euro I know.....lol

Why would it look wierd? With large lips you cant tell the difference between 3.5 and 4.5". All that matters is how it sits in the fenders. If the front pokes more than the rears it will look wierd

275/30 isnt that big of a tire for an 11. that shit is prettyyy stretched, we've done it

As long as it sits right, who cares?  If the front pokes out more then the rear the front lips will appear larger.

im with you on that one.

its a self preference. it seems like its bothering you. thats why you made this thread. i felt the same when i had my GS. everyone thought that the wheels had the same size lip all around. but now i went with a smaller lip in front with my Q to show that it is staggered.

don't worry guys about the front poking more than the rear.  that's not what I'm asking!  the clearance/camber will be similar f&r.  I don't like the typical mild front fitment/insane rear.  That's why I moved to a more aggressive size in the front.  My ONLY question was the lip issue since I haven't seen too many cars with the same lip f&r.  ok?  I just got the rear tires mounted so I will find out soon enough if I like it.

while I like stretched tires as much as the next guy, I think stretching just for the hell of it is dumb.  245 and 275 WILL be stretched.  Mildly, but enough to clear for my setup.  I may go with a 235 in the front, but only if it rubs.  More stretched tires would make the car look LESS aggressive I think.  For example, this looks dumb to me (below).  Not trying to shit-talk xk-y33 because his car is bad ass and looks awesome on every other set of wheels he had.  Just using it as an example.  Would look much better with wider tires as long as the fender clearance was tight
