absorber.. if u learn to use them correctly, they work great, dirt comes right
off of them, they don't leave lint, and they dont swirl up your paint.

my car is black and it used to be a pain in the a** to dry my car. Now after i wash i use a big microfiber cloth to soak most of the water and then use the microfiber waffle weave to do the drying. Works good and IMO works better than a regular absorber.

Absorber, but I'm curious to how this is in comparison to the Absorber.

Also, what are you guys wiping/drying/polishing your wheels with? So far I use fresh microfiber towels with the Quik Wheel Detailer™ and the NXT Generation® All Metal Polysh.

Hmm, that's 3 in a row for the silicon blade type. Is this thing really scratch proof? I bought one then had second thoughts about using it and I returned it.

I use Absorber. Where I live however, it does not work well in dry hot dusty climates by itself (ie. Vegas, AZ). Needs to be followed immediately with microfiber. I'm looking to find an alternative product.

The absorber I found is top notch in more humid areas.

California waterblade....followed by big waffle weave microfiber. If I'm intending to wax after wash, I usually use the absorber because it tends to help me pick up more water so i don't run into it when i wax. Microfiber has to be big though whether waffle or terry.

Abzorber.

I don't trust those water blades. If I missed a spot washing, if there were a random piece of debris--whatever--I just couldn't get past potentially scratching the car.

Absorber user her. Just make sure your car is super clean. If it picks up dirt it will scratch your paint.

Wow lots of absorber users. If you got a black car the absorber will scratch it for sure. The best thing is waffle weave micro fiber towels.

I use a leaf blower and blow off all the water with that, it leaves no streaks and no water in the creveces. Then I go over it with a microfiber towel. Neighbors have seen me do it and now they are starting to do it as well, makes the drying part of washing the car quick and easy.

Haha...I thought I was weird. I use the yard blower too, but just for the wheels, under rainguards, mirrors, grill, emblems, headlights, fogs, and taillights. Using the yard blower on multi-piece wheels really get all the water out of the cracks and crevices, I know some of you guys wipe your wheels down, only to comeback and find a puddle sitting at the bottom of your lip. Try the yard blower to dry your wheels and no more puddle and sparkly shine all the time. Then I use the absorber to dry the rest of the car.

Yes, I hate dealing with the stupid puddle in the lips. I've just been putting up with taking the car out for a quick spin and then wiping the rest of the water off, but its kind of a pain.

I use the leaf blower when Im not lazy. I need to bust out 3 extension cords though. I usually use the California blade but if it is not used correctly, it will scratch up your car. The car has to be really wet. I only use it on the roof, windows, trunk and if im feeling brave, the hood. I scratched my doors up with it in the past. I then use 3 microfibers to dry the rest of the car. The first one really is just used to get the excess water off the car and wheels. The second and third micro fibers are used to get the rest of the car dry.

where are you gonna pick up dust at? all the ground around the car is wet, if your worried about dust in the air then whats the difference when you drive the car on the roads? On my leaf blower i got a fine mesh that goes on before the turbine maybe some dont.
