dude, the musical talent in other countries (as a whole) far surpass those here in the states. there are many brilliant artists, composers, and performers in every genre of music here in America but they are far and in between. There's much talent here in the states but so many are too scared to step forward, and the ones that do, are the ones that want to just sound like every other rapper/singer on the radio. Basically, following and not setting new things in motion. In America, everyone wants to be like the next person, especially in the music game.

I used to be a music production/piano major here at my university. I don't even want to get started on this topic, I'll get heated. lol

Very true. And those that had the gift of music and art. Have either retired or passed on. Then suddenly it wa slike since there is no true talent left let's just pick up any joe who looks the part and throw tons money into production to make them sound or look more appealing. Another reason why I don't care for much of America's music.

I can't turn on the radio and hear a new song or any new artist. Everything sounds too similar now. I'm waiting on the day when every melody and every set of lyrics has already been put out.
