I like them on the right application, like the Crown that was posted in the "Gangster Wedding" thread.

Garson makes some nice wheels. The first wheel pictured which are the Zuenglein DR301 are sick. With the right car, it would look good. Though don't overdue the too much jewels on the car. Just my 2 cents.

that first picture of the Garson rims in post #1 is sick. ever since I saw it on that Crown in another thread I fell in love with it.

And I too think that it really depends on the application.

maybe to people in japan its a newer, unique idea. they can incorporate it into their VIPstyle and its works well. But here in the US, wheels w/ jewels on them have been around for yearrrrrrrrs and have been played out and used on ghetto ass cars and DUB style.

so to answer the question...i detest them. what may be cool somewhere else, may not always work here.

also its very DUB. DUB's products are sold in wal-mart. the exact opposite of "ballin"

Any pics or links to cars actually rolling jeweled wheels other than the famous SLK? I think most people here can tell the difference between these and DUB style. I like the first one, not really the 2nd...1st is more like an accent vs the primary look.

For the peeps who do likem like the 1st pic, is the added price justified?

if i had an ls460 or 430, black with ALL the rest of the garson crystal collection, then yes, these would be the icing on the cake. on hummers and 300C's, they suck.

My kneejerk reaction;
No thanks. I am not a fan of bedazzled wheels. If you must flaunt like that, then make a diamond encrusted helmet and wear it walking down the sidewalk. You'll be the most ballin' special kid I see in my life. Sorry.

My rational reaction;
I kind of sort of dig the Lowenhart wheel posted above. I just have a hard time imagining a car that it wouldn't look like overkill on.

Are the Garson ones worth the asking price?

(DUB jeweled wheels might belong on another topic or forums site)
