Purchasing an Acura TSx, Need help with the stance.

Currently I own an Xb, but due to the mods, it doesnt look as mature when I meet with clients. So I decided Im going to purchase a 2007 Acura TSX. Can you guys please help me out an a conservative but still aggressive stance. Im going to run a set of Tanabe Sustec's, but I have no idea on Wheel fitment for this car.

You will not find much usefull information here, as there are not many TSX owners here, and its not a traditionaly accepted VIP platform. That being said, its nothing some elbow grease, some calculations, some wheels with known offsets, and some spacers couldn't figure out.

Well when I said conservative but still agressive, I was thinking something along the lines of a 19x8 wheel, maybe even 8.5 or 9. You guys are rocking 19 x 9.5 and up. As far as offset, Ive been on the acurazine forum, and they dont seem to know much about it. VEry few , but they dont seem to want to share the knowledge. 

I understand its not a VIP platform, and the consequences for saying it is. But I know its not, and its not the route Im going.  Im just looking for a grown and sexy look, as the result of a well calculated stance.

yea the problem is that i dont think anyone here has a tsx at all so theres nothing to compare you. YOu might want to find a tsx forum with peoples sizes and widths. Then basing from that calculate your offset.

One way you can do it is... what is the size of your oem wheel and offset?

lets say its 17x7 +45

If you get 18x8 +45 wheels then you get an additional half inch of width going towards the fender.

minus 25 off the offset. Now its 18x8 +20. You have now added another inch in total lip (if you got a lip)

Its hard to explain you kinda gotta just read and compare

wow anouther XB owner with a TSX.. Cool.. I have one ut its what my GF drives so i just dropped it with Eibach springs and added a Ingals Camber kit.. and some ok wheels which she curb it crap out of it.. its 18x7.5 from looking at the wheels you can prob go with an 8 inch wide wheel

you can do 8.5 front 9.5 rear

J-stuff, I like you calculation, sounds like a nice stance. But I havent seen anyone with lower than a 45 offset.

The Lexus LS and GS guys were afriad to go lower than 45 offset about 4 or 5 years ago too, now we have guys running between 20-0 all over this forum. Its all about exploring and doing the work/research.

Yes, that is the fitment right there.

The fittment of the wheels on that car still leaves much to be desired. Both front and rear appear to have alot of space to work with before rubbing becomes an issue.

I agree, I have a TL, 18x9 36mm, and I still want to add a spacer
