Just cut a few coils off the top of the springs, it'll actually ride decently. S14 springs won't work, at least I the fronts I know won't.

I haven't heard of the S14 springs on a G50 only the Y33s.
I'd go with air or coilovers. I have skyline coilovers and they ride pretty decent to me.
I've seen people cut their stock springs and put them with tokico struts, so that might be an alternative too.

Correct that's Y33's not G50's. Air is the way to go if you're up to the task...otherwise coilovers. Or just like a few have said..the cheap route. If it's just a cheaper daily while you finish your LS..then go the cheap route and save $ for your project.

Guilty. I've done this and it rides like I said, suprisingly well. Not bouncy, not too stiff, just flat.

Well, whatever you need just let me know man, I'm down to lend a hand. I have some extra G50 rear suspension arms too in case you come across fitment/stance issues.

I have R32 coilover, but they should be nearly the same if not the exact same if you order Z32 coilover...for example Megan Racing.
For the Z32 they will bolt right up but you will have to enlarge the upper mounting holes and bottom mounting hole on the coilover. For the rear you have to use Q45 Upper Mounts.
For the skyline coilovers that I got they bolted right on wih no probs, but I can't tell you if this will work 100% of the time.
I hope that helps somewhat.

nice z32 coilovers it is. All I have to do is get custom camber plates for the rear.

i dont think its "camber plates" since its not a mcpherson strut type..the upper mounting plate tho...yes. that would be it.
