Wood Steering Wheels

Alright, we all know about the infamous Nardi and Fabulous steering wheels, but what's your guy's take on these steering wheels?

What do you all think of these steering wheels inside of a VIP or VIPstyled car?
Any other steering wheels out there that you think would look great with our luxury rides besides Nardi and Fabulous?

I think its to much wood especially the first one..I really like the OEm wood and leather wheels..I think that they look the best by far. Very classy and luxury..Especially the wood and leather where the leather has those little wholes.

the first and last ones just looks too much. I prefer wood with leather.

just get a 98-00 LS400 wood grain wheel, that's what I have, beats all those by far and it retains airbag

I perfer factory as well. Although a nardi would be sick!

it sold for $135 on E-Bay 2 days ago.

The alpina wheel is cool, but it better end up on a BMW!  haha

I originally bought a Fabulous steering whel and when I put it up to the car it just seemed like to much wood for me so now its up for sale. Then I almost bought that Nardi one just a couple posts up and i settled with this...

And I have to admit this one matched best out of call. Momo has a similar design with a airbag I believe. It might have been a factory one. And they also have this model which is a very similar design

The wheels that insomniac posted are nice.  If I was in your shoes, I would shoot for that or a OEM wheel

I would rock the ones that iNS0MNiAC has even if my interior ins't black! As long as the wood matches! :shrug:

i think the Nardi Suedes belnog better than Wood

my complaint about wood is its slick
Not safe at all
now, im not one to preach on safety, but when i have my hand slipping a little at least once a day whem im turning, who knows if it will ever happen when its a critical situation

But i sold my Suede nardi a while ago, so im looking for another one

But the classic black/black leather nardi isa close second
I hate wood..

the only way I would rock a full wood wheel is if i had like one of those Silk Blaze crazy wood dash kits you see in the vip vans

Too much for me. Im looking into picking up a steering wheel from a newer model ES, GS, or SC. I like how there is wood in the areas where you would normally see wear and tear and then the rest is smooth leather.

i went w/ a wood & leather Nardi. I like it, Its great and inexpensive!

are you using a hub? if so what kind?

It is a HKB hub.. Im guessing you have a Y33 Q45?

I like the wood momos, but I would go OEM later model for the best look

anyone know where to get that wood alpina wheel? that thing is sick... perfect for my dads OG BMW 2002
