In Need Of A Veteran Opinion

I'm looking into  getting some wheels for my RWD '07 GS350.  Wheels are 18 x 8  35mm offset.  I noticed that the front calipers on the GS are pretty big.  Will these wheels clear those calipers???  Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

P.S. 

I know you'll prolly be saying to get bigger wheels but these are the size I could afford....for now.  PEACE.

Depends on disk type. What kind of wheels?

Like he said..it depends on how large the pad of the wheel is, which is called disk size.  IE: Low Disk, Mid Disk, Hi Disk.

save your money.

Save up!  The stock wheels are not bad on newer models.  Just save up until you can afford what you really want.  Patience is the key

I agree.  I would do a 19" on that car.

I'd do 21's on the newer models, but that's just me...

it depends on what disc type the wheel is. 
Also if you want the modest concervative fittment, 18x8 is ok.
But if you would like to somthing that has a bigger lip and sits more aggressive on your car, you can deffinetly go w/ something wider then an 8J

8J 35mm offset is [B]serious[/B] [COLOR=DarkOrange]weak sauce[/COLOR]. That's what I got for my [I]FWD [COLOR=Magenta]Protege[/COLOR][/I].

Saving is the key then.  Now what wheels would you guys recommend, looking into some staggered 19's.  What wheel spec is the best for this GS???

Just as a quickie reference, the Fabulous GS car has 20"x9.0" +36mm in the front, and 20"x10.0" +36 in the rear, for a pretty conservative approach.
