so my journey has begun...,

took off this morning headed to cali. 2 day trek, 27.5 hrs to the bay area from houston. I loaded my whole apartment into my xb. everything from a tv, desktop computer, tons of clothes, all my belongings. plus my mom is driving with me so we got all her luggage (she flies back wednesday) its all piled to the ceiling and I can't see out the back window. 

I raised my car all the way an I'm still rubbing like crazy in the rear. wish me luck.. it'll be interesting.

Have fun. I drove from Philly to San Diego by myself..did it in 2.5 days.  I wish I would have had someone with me for that trip..I would have made a lot of cool stops to enjoy stuff.  Be safe!

I'm about 200 miles outside of el paso right now... in buttfvck nowhere. staying in new mexico tonight then la tomorrow night. we're gonna do the hollywood gig and hang out around la for a few hours. what sucks is.. half of the trip is getting out of texas. 12 hrs alone. and ya, I've been taking pix along the way. I'll post them after I get settled in.

I decided to go out last night and get shitfaced... woke up 4hrs late so I didn't get to do some things. I even left my dvd player and mouse at home wtfx.

oh and I got pulled over twice so far and I'm not even out of texas. one for going 88 in and 80 and one for no front plate.  2 warnings. they're  just looking for drug trafficers.

the xb is phyiscally incapble of going 88 mph...let alone with all that junk in your car.

i drove from houston to colorado and you're right, getting out of texas takes FOREVERRRRRR!  its all flat land and there is no scenery whatsoever.  what i did was open my hood on my breaks just to let out all that heat trapped in there while i took 30 min shit breaks :)

I'm about 300 miles out of la. just ate in and out burger. yay.
I'm driving strait to the bay area... not gonna stay in la like I had planned. oh and we're finishing fight club and just watched boiler room. good game to having a screen.

I used to live in Texas and yes it does take forever to get the hell out to Cali., but now that I'm in Florida I have the damn Panhandle part to deal with trying to go west.
