Naild for tint that is leagal

ok so I just got my car back from the shop yesterday so it can pass inspection, I had a issue with the air bag light that was taken care of. After leaving the dealership I had gotten pulled over by a ASS hole officer because of my tint!

1.) My windows ALL of them were rolled down so therfore he could not justify the law that states that the officer must be able to see into the window, of cpourse he coulkd the windows were down.

2.) The car has been inspected many times and sold to US with that tint.

3.) Im am possitive that this tint fits under law as legal %.

Im not beeing a punk and trying to get out of some shit but this has caused hell in my life, a few weeks ago I was nabbed by a cop saying I was raceing when I wasnt and Pendot  Dept of transportation here in PA said they may take my liscense but they never informed me of it beeing pulled. So now on top of it all I have a suspended liscence.

My car is inpounded and I lost the registration a day before.

Plus the cop didnt even take the car straight to inpound he took it to the station and I can only imagine since its such a stereo typical drug dealers type car he must have pulled every panle trying to find something.

Well the car was actually impounded for not having the registration on my at the time plus my License being supposedly suspended but again, I have had no idea. I was not yet informed that it would be suspended.

I am contacting legislation cause the cop had no reason to pull me over since my windows even if they are to dark ( and they aren't )had been rolled down all the way. Even light tint may appear dark as you drive past someone if the windows are low enough to not let any light pass through but it states that the windows must be up so the officer can determine if they are to dark or not, they need to be able to make out a figure of the person driving.

I can read a damn CD label on the floor of my passengers seat from outside the drivers side! I just got my wheels welded up for the curb rash and repainted but they used those damn chains to secure around the wheels going through the holes in the wheels.

Now my wife left me and took the baby ( my best friend ) to her moms out of state all just cause of some lazy fat ass cop that has to act like an asshole, I know the cop stoped the roll back just down the street and went thgrough everything in the car, he had no reasonable cause to do it as he pulled me over and I know thats all he wanted to begin with.

I cant stand this place, I am 100% Caucasian american. I lived in Montery City Mexico for awhile not exactly your typical go and visit Mexico American resort hang out ( dead center Mexico slum ) and I still had a better time than the 26 years I have been on this planet as a American but in many cases it goes even deeper than just America itself this is the case of small town politics for instance, this cop sets up shop to pull people over right down the street from me. I have lived in this area for 2 years owning the same car with the same tint and he decided that finaly my tint is legal enough for his fat old ass to pull me over cause his small town of 400 people are to boreing????? 

I pass him everyday at leats 3 times and when he is in his unmarked car you cant see anything, cops cars are so damn dark in tint. Great example there PIG boys.

feel your pain man, i hate police officers because they are the most hipocritical humans on the planet. he pulled you over for tinted windows, then i bet he went home and burnt a CD.

in PA you are only allowed 70% net transmittance, your glass is almost that so any tint in your states IS illegal, and thats for the whole car unless its a van, SUV, or truck that comes with factory tint.

Well, to my understanding enough light passes to make it legal. I had it metered and I know that wont hold up in court but the kicker is the cop never sent me the ticket for that any way. 

When I had gotten the car inspected I asked them and they said they don't determine it anymore but they could also tell me without a doubt it should not be Illegal, they told me some confusing crap about the Grey scale and all and that it may look dark but enough light will pass to make it legal. 

All that BS for nothing, a good thing that happened is I took the inspections ands emissions fine to court and ha d that straightened pout but I'm still dealing with the suspended license crap.

Either way, I know the cop had no reason to pull me over since they were rolled down and he couldn't even see how dark they may have been.

i know how u feel.  i had my car impounded once when i was 17 for a suspended license.  the cop pulled me over just before midnight and waited about 15 minutes before he even came up.  then "why you driving on a suspended license?"  i said its not suspended till the 4th.  he looked at his watch, 12:02, "its the 4th now".  and to kick it off the suspended license was taken care of but the dmv in san francisco was updated but the so cal one wasnt yet.  they told me this might happen so they told me to keep the paperwork.  i showed it to the officer and he didnt care.  "its not in my computer"

dragged my lowered integra up the damn flatbed.

I hate this small town shit, I moved here cause the little girl was on her way and figured it would be a good place for her to grow up but it turned out even tho it was it sucks for people that are adults like me. I got so many fines to pay off and I probably wont see my license till 2011 unless (I pay off the fines soon, hire a lawyer and take some points. The good thing about that is I'm about to turn 27 and I have a perfect driving record with no points they just keep suspending my license instead so a few points wont hurt me much, Ill just have to chill on insurance for a bit.

But if I still lived in even the small city of Allentown the cops would have not made such a big deal nore would they be harassing people they, would be fighting crime. I see this cop everyday in the parking lot of the park about a half a block from my house, his tint is almost jet black on his unmarked and he sits near the pool watching all the girls, go figure he gets to keep his tint and I don't? Go figure I use it to keep out the sun and he uses it to keep out the parents suspicions. Every once in a while Ill be outside washing and waxing up my car and hear a siren then I see him pull over some people for some idiotic reason like a stereo system or loud exhaust and he knows how to work. He sits right where his Borough Line meats the Township line anyone that doesn't reduce from the 35 MPH speed limit to the Burroughs 25 at that instant gets it. I really feel like kicking this guys ass!

sorry bout all that. i get profiled when i drive my lancer. here in san diego, they pull you over just for what your car looks like. i had tint in the front but the windows were down. and he said my exhaust was too loud, no front license plate, taillight tint was illegal, told me to pop the hood because people with cars like mine usually have stuff done to their engines, :signdammit:my engine is completely stock. not even a cold air intake. Then he gave me a fix it ticket. All got written off when i went to the station. been there so many times for the same crap that the officer at the desk says "man, this is a waste of time. I wouldn't have pulled you over. there are trucks and little hatchback civics with louder exhausts". all from a cop. those traffic cops are just put there to get their "quota". :werd:
