Sunshine roof- jdm glass top conversion on 98 odyssey

check it out..just finished the sunshine roof conversion on our 98. just showed it at the nopi event in carson and took 2nd in the street suv/truck/van class....

damn that roof mod is MEAN!

too many...it think im at 110...swapping in a h23 this week and a roots supercharger with aem ecu in this one...should be fun..and im rebuilding the flamed one to fulll vip with a new paint job and i have a 3rd and fourth...coming out soon..also with glass top conversions....for sale soon too...so help me out.. i have way too many..thanks guys...

sweet!  reminds me of the emina/lucida toyotas.  I like the seats and interior.  I got recaros as well but they are from a lancer evo.

Looks really good man, Are you worried about the sun fading the recaros? May not be a big deal in CA but in AZ it will happen!

May not be a big deal in CA but in AZ it will happen![/quote]the shades were optional in japan and finding them so far has almost been impossible, but im still looking for it..but in the meantime im working on devising a way temporarily have something for now...but fading would occur just as bad as it does in arizona...we just dont have the actual dry heat as much...i bitch when its 85 outside..lol..

why not just tint the glass in the meantime?

yeah like 2%! that way it's all the goodness of the glass top, yet it'll keep cool still.

This  mugen one came out really nice..I can't wait to see the white one come out redone. Plus you got 2 more???

thanks for the tips guys..the roof is tinted..but under direct sunlight..it stings..hehehe..and i got the tradition kit goin on the white one and im rebuilding a new kenstyle van

Ill start stashing the cash, but Im still curious as to much I need to stash.. sorry bout the late reply, but the ody just took the whole fam from AZ to the taste of Chicago and back on 20's without a hitch... smooth sailing all the way Baby!!!! 150k When we left, 154xxx when we returned.. pulled through the mountains surprisingly wel in 3rd.... pm me prices or quotes... putting in the suspension in the next week or so...

plan to put away at least $2000 depending where you take it to get done..if you are serious, we can talk parts and install when the tops show up at the middle of august

Talked to the guy at Garson-USA to see what was going on and to get pricing on a few things, he said that they have product displayed at the Super Autobacs in the OC. Are you in the Oc, and is that a where you took the pic of your Ody? If so, can you check it out for us....

saw the display..mostly D.A.D. products...and kinda pricey. sad thing is that you can see the markup on the japan prices cause they left the japan prices on the box...but you're getting what you pay for..quality legit jdm vip parts.

You the man Rasrx7, pretty pricey huh? Maybe it's worth it if you don't want to wait forever to get your stuff.. They said no tables were available because of the dash difference, but maybe we can get them to get the ones that go on the doors. Will check to see..
