WRX STI VIP WHEEL COLOR

[SIZE=5]Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself. Currentley I have a 2005 WRX STi and I want to do something a little different. I just got my wheels that were on my old SC400 out of storage They are 19x9.5 Altstadt 1 wheels. I checked fitment with a 225/35/19 fk452 and it will be a tight fit with a 2.5" drop that i currentley have. The real issue is the color. I photoshopped a few colors let me know what you guys think. (Oh yeah the wing is going away)[/SIZE]

UUmm none of them..sorry but those colors arnt really going to pass in the VIP scene.:shrug:

all the vip stuff aside, i like the matte gray the best. of course, as a fellow subaru owner, i really don't like the style of the wheel on a suby, but if you like it go for it.

I say you sell the suby and go for a better platform..even it its not a true platform there are many accepted cars now that are VIP inspired and if you want to go VIP I would really start with a car that will blend better with the VIP style..THis car looks like its ready for the Rally track and Subys as you say allways will.

that would be a waste of an STI, BUT it is your car and you should do what you want with it.
you know you wouldnt be able to go fast with those tires, well you would but id just be afraid of messing up the wheels. id buy an old LS or something, its not like the older body styles are expensive.

I say 1st or 3rd choice.  I would only do the last choice (STi color) if you plan to add some pink inside the car.

what is wrong with the silver? i do kind of like the gold though. i would also consider a lower profile hood scoop, along with the wing removal.

Seeing to how i aint really a wrex fan because I got a lancer :shrug:, ummm yeah, ummm, gonna have to ask you to use those first ones and ummm, yeah get rid of the space ship wing. :smiley-rofl:we ride low on VIP scene not fly :werd:. But the main color combo on your silver would be good with the gold or the gunmetal. IMHO

anyhow, in case you haven't noticed, just because a car has 4 wheels does not make it fall within the VIP category.  Ya I know I know, it gets a big confusing sometimes.  :pat:

and ya, I totally see how pink would be an great option. I bet that makes your deciding that much harder.

I have had a lot of clients with STI's and from my knowledge the offsets on an STI/WRX/EVO are really high.  Most "VIP"-ish wheels are not going to fit on an STI.  Whats what's the offset on the wheels?  You got to run something liek a +50et on your car.  And for your car, I would rock the gold.  I love me some STI's.

K . .  how bout not. . Unless you are prepared to COMPLETELY change the look of your car to look VIPish. . then id stay away from those particular wheels. .

This could Maybe pass for VIPish styling if you didn't have all the fuckin vents and scoops and shit. . and if it was lower and tons of camber. .  The widebody and wheel capabilites of this kit should be something you should be prepared to do if you ACTUALLY wanna do this.. . .Otherwise. .get some sporty type wheels in aggressive sized and offsets. .It'll look much better that way. .

Hahahah you guys are hilarious. . I only meant that it could pass for VIP [B]styled[/B] FOR a WRX. . . WRX is def not a VIP car.. but then again neither is a Bb nor any kei cars that are VIP styled. . But the kit gives the ability to run sick rims. . and painted properly and done cleanly this car COULD look pretty fuckin good. . For a WRX . . Granted yes you'd have to take off the wing..  fill the ugly vents.. etc etc. .but it has possibilites for someone who is looking for some direction with his WRX. . ( if this isn't a fuckin joke) 

 Im not really a fan of WRX's. . But if i was to drive one. .It would sure as hell look more like that one . . rather than this. . Fuckin PUKE. .
