S320 help

I'm thinking about getting an 1998 S320 sedan, the long version. I was wondering what suspension mods/wheels are available for the car. All I have found are springs for it but I really wanted to dump it on coilovers/air suspension. Let me know, thanks.

yep2, i'm with jon, hehe coilover is good as well, check out KW or H&R, they might have 'em..
for wheels, anything is available for 5x112 pcd (almost full face rims alike are suggested, juz like above), as for offsets n width, not too sure with w140, but i would say u can go pretty wide n low offsets, at least 10.5 width(rear)..

Not sure I want to go with an air setup. I think coilovers would do the trick, but I have not been able to find any for the car. I've tried the obvious brands (H&R, Koni, Tein, JIC, KW). Any other suggestions?

don't know if u consider comfort is also part of ure criteria, as for me (w203) im using H&R coilover, no damper adjustment but the damper is pretty good already, almost felt like stock (thought its still stiffer than stock), also don't know if w140 H&R coilover got any damper adjustment ehehe, so i would recommend go with H&R, juz my 2cents, or u want the best go with Bilstein then, thats the best i've heard so far for merc application. good luck with hunting mate:smiley:
